Matt grew up as a resident of DeKalb County and it is still the area that he considers home today. His interest in real estate began to grow as he and his family moved around the area and renovated several homes. This also led him to study landscape architecture at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in which he earned his Bachelor’s Degree and became a licensed landscape architect. Having worked as a landscape architect for 3 years, Matt had been engaged in various real estate development projects, land planning projects, and parks within the City of Chicago and surrounding areas. Matt likes to use his knowledge from this industry to help his clients understand a property’s construction quality, code compliance, aesthetic details, and more. He really enjoys being able to do what he loves and is constantly looking for ways to learn more and do it better. In his free time, Matt likes to play sports and be outdoors. Golf is his choice to do both of these, but he also likes the occasional game of basketball or to go on a hike or run. Through Matt’s dedication and hard work in his career, he has become well regarded by his clients, peers, and colleagues. At the end of the day, his ultimate goal is not only to help his clients find the best property, but also the right property, whether that is a home, a business, or a farm.
